Chilli

A great recipe for meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 500 g mince beef, pork, turkey all work well
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 2 cans chopped tomatoes
  • 2 garlic cloves chopped or crushed
  • 200 g mushrooms chopped
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp hot chilli powder add more to make it hotter!

Instructions

  • Brown mince and break up with a wooden spoon
  • Add garlic and onion, cook on medium heat until onions are soft
  • Add tomatoes, beans and spices,  mix well
  • Add remaining ingredients and simmer on low for 10 minutes

Make enough for 3 meals

    Eat one portion with rice

      Eat one portion with tacos

        Use another portion and combine with cooked rice. Then fill sliced bell peppers, top with cheese and bake @180/gm7 for 15-20 minutes (ensure contents is hot before serving)
